About
Second Nature is the creative outlet of José de la Rubia . That’s me. I am passionate about economic matters, politics and environment. Few things please me more than travelling as well.
But ‘Second Nature’ is a theoretical concern too, alternative to the concept of culture. I have a weakness for this tag. It designs a frame of mind that hand me out to stage my feelings and impressions about what I am keen on.
This site is also where I
ramble on about culture and all things that interest me.
Philosophy
In my opinion, SN deals no matter with depression or the cult of the ugly duckling. On the opposite, We devour stories of personal transformation. Thus, optimists seem to be sprinkled with fairy dust. They suffer less and recover quicker. They are healthier and well behavied. A lot of these qualities stem from cognitive habits that can be learned. More than any other major personality trait, optimism is a matter of practice.
The key to increasing optimism lies in understanding its true nature. It’s not  positive thinking. It has more to do with how you behave, says Suzanne Segerstrom, an associate professor of psychology at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. “I think an optimistic outlook can be cultivated, but it’s even better to cultivate optimistic behavior—engagement and persistence toward one’s goals,” she says.

Second Nature is the creative outlet of José de la Rubia . I am passionate about economic matters, politics, demography and education. More precisely, from my personal experience in the world of NGOs, I feel Human Rights and Environment as essential traits in education issues, i.e. education shapes citizens for life. Life in democracy. Few things please me more than travelling as well.  But ‘Second Nature’ is a theoretical concern too, right across an alternative to the concept of culture. A sort of frame of mind where I ramble on culture facts, general knowledge and  related stuff of interest.

I‘m sure many of you are like me and one of the first things you do in the morning is head here and check out the new post. Along with seeing the new posts, I’m also always checking out the blog roll rss feed and watching them grow, or shrink sometimes. All in all: an excellent site. Keep it up !

It is a pleasure to read your reports
Are you a teacher? What is your occupation now?
Your items denote high acuity. They are always very interesting and very well documented.

“propose you to exchange links with your blog” sounds different from spam. Even so, I found that “spamming” very funny. And tell me, why should I remove something you consider a spam?

Dear Helga, I don’t see any utility in having visitors coming from your blog, as we write about quite different topics. It’s quite unusual that a girl looking for sex toys on your blog will find interesting something about plastic pollution :) In addition to this, I find sex toys useless for the moment. Maybe write me back in 20 years..
