Why zikipediq

zikipediq should be my creative outlet along the time. Since sept 2007 I live between Barcelona and Paris. Given that, I use to draw on two keyboards, one Spanish qwerty and another French azerty. Thus recently, when doing a query in Google, I wrote down wrongly  zikipediq  instead of Wikipedia.

I wonder if there is a specific term to indicate systematic striking errors on the keyboard, without speaking about dyslexia (!), but for example when one reverses two letters systematically by typing certain words only, or when one adds a letter systematically by typing a given word…

The French term “coquille” and the Spanish “gazapo” are closer to the English “misprint” or “typo”. But they do not reflect the systematic aspect of the fault. Personally speaking, I would not hesitate to speak plainly about dyslexia. And I am happy to note that I am not the only since the expression “dyslexia of the keyboard” is largely used.

So far so good. The headline of this blog (and the conceptual background along with) comes from my miscreant character –and it is a tribute to Wiki as well.

Puede que el blog de zikipediq dé una salida a mi creativdad. Desde septiembre de 2007 vivo entre Barcelona y París. Escribo con dos teclados, uno español y otro francés. Con frecuencia me equivoco al teclear. Así, al realizar una consulta en Google para ir a Wikipedia, teclée zikipediq por error.

Así pues el título del blog viene congénito con mi espíritu un tanto cojo. Lo de ziki no es más que el fruto de la casualidad y, de alguna manera, un homenaje a Wikipedia.

Me propongo hilvanar aquí mis ideas y opiniones sobre algunos temas que me interesan y que cuelgo en este blog por si interesa a algunos. También pueden dejar su mensaje en zikipediq@yahoo.com
